Site Navigation
On each page on the web site, certain features have been standardised. There are two menus; the main menu which shows the core sections
of the web site and the separate topic menu which provides navigation for a particular section. Additionally, links are provided on all pages
to useful areas of the web site (e.g. this help page and the
Site Map).
Please also note that if you are reading a particularly long web page, a link back to the top of the page is provided.
Contact Details/Staff
Contact details for Edwardians Online are provided at the bottom of every web page and also within our
contact page, together with details on how to contact members of staff.
Browser Technology
The Edwardians Online web site is best viewed using a recent web browser (e.g. Internet Explorer 6, Netscape 6, Mozilla 1 or Opera 6). It is
however designed to be accessible to all, and will function in older web browsers even if your browser does not support current web
standards, notably Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). Although fully accessible, in older web browsers it may not be presented as intended.
Please note, the printed web page will differ in style from the screen page. You may wish to find out more about web standards from the
World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) web site. To find out more about
downloading a different web browser we suggest you visit the
Web Standards Project web site.
